Experience the Best!

This free online barcode reader highlights the features and performance of the the Manatee Works Barcode Scanner SDK, decoding images that contain barcodes of any of our supported symbologies. Get started by uploading your image to our server and check if it can be decoded. Any barcodes that match a published structured specification, such as AAMVA or GS1, will also be parsed.

Best Practices

  1. Try to use images that are on a clear white background.
  2. If the symbology (barcode type) within the image is known, select it in Step 1. ONLY if the symbology is unknown, use autodetect (NOTE: AUTODETECT is inefficient and imperfect codes may not be found).
  3. Use effort level 0 so the SDK will start detecting codes from the fastest SDK effort level possible. It will increase the effort level automatically (try-harder) if a code cannot be found on the chosen level.
